OK, now that I’m nearing the end *cough* of the research phase *cough* of my Independent Study, the next task for me to perform is that of a focus group. The point of the focus group is to gain some primary research for the project, and to help me understand what its potential users will want from the site.

The event itself should take between two to four hours to complete, and although there is a specific set list of things to discuss (such as how the path system should work), some of the time will be spent on generating new ideas.

So, I’m looking for volunteers. I need people based in Worcester (or who don’t mind travelling to Worcester), that ideally should have an interest in fiction (either reading or writing), but this is not a requirement.

I don’t yet have a date for this, but this can be arranged to (hopefully) fit around everyone’s schedule. I’m arranging for this to happen on the 17th September from 5:00pm until 7:00pm somewhere within the University campus. I’ll also see what I can do about arranging for some snacks and drinks for everyone that helps out.
